Learn how to download the Prodigies Music Lessons app, which devices are supported, and how to log in with your existing membership.

With an active Prodigies Music membership, you can stream our video lessons through a web browser or on your smart device using the Prodigies Music Lessons app. You can stream on up to 5 devices at once per household.


Streaming on a Computer or Laptop

To stream Prodigies on your computer or laptop, visit: play.prodigies.com

  • We recommend using Google Chrome for the best experience, but most modern browsers work.

  • Make sure your browser is up to date for smooth playback.

  • From the homepage, you can browse all chapters and series.

  • Use the tabs in the top menu to find specific areas, such as chapters, resources, and your account area.


Supported Devices for the App

The Prodigies Music Lessons app is available on the following platforms:

  • iOS - iPhone, iPad and TV (requires iOS 14 or later)

  • Android - phones, tablets and TV (requires Android 8.0 or later)

  • Roku TV - 4K and newer models

  • Amazon Fire TV

  • Samsung Smart TVs - requires Tizen 6.5 or later, which is typically Samsung models since 2022.


How to Download & Log In to the App

Step 1: Download the app

  • iPhone or iPad: Open the App Store and search for Prodigies Music Lessons, or tap this link to go directly to the app.

  • Android: Open the Google Play Store and search for Prodigies Music Lessons, or tap this link to go directly to the app.

  • Roku / Fire TV / Samsung TV: Go to the app or channel store on your TV and search for Prodigies Music Lessons.

Step 2: Open the app and tap "Sign In"

Do not tap "Subscribe" - if you already have a membership, you just need to sign in.

Step 3: Enter your Prodigies login credentials

Use the same email address and password you use on play.prodigies.com. Once signed in, your full membership content will be available immediately.

Forgot your password? Tap "Forgot Password" on the sign-in screen, or reset it at prodigies.com/account/login.

Signing In on a TV? Use Easy Sign-In

Logging in on a TV app is even easier now, no need to type your email and password with a remote. Here's how:

  1. On the TV app login screen, select "Sign in using another device"

  2. A unique code and URL will appear on your TV screen

  3. On your phone or computer, go to prodigies.com/connect and enter your email and password

  4. Enter the code shown on your TV

  5. Your TV app will automatically sign you in

Easy Sign-In is available on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, and Samsung TV.


Do I Need to Subscribe Through the App?

No. If you've already purchased a membership or Kit through our website, use the same login credentials in the app, no new subscription needed.

Please do not subscribe again through the app store, as that will create a duplicate subscription tied to your app store account instead of your main Prodigies membership.

If you're signed in, and do not see a subscription listed under Subscriptions, that might be because you purchased a membership through our shop. This is okay! You would still have access to all videos included in your membership, but your app does not consider this a subscription because you did not subscribe monthly through your TV. Can I Download Videos for Offline Viewing?

With an active membership:

  • Streaming is available through both the browser and app.

  • Offline downloads are available only through the app on mobile or tablet devices.

  • Downloaded videos remain available offline for 30 days - great for travel or teaching in areas with limited internet.

  • Videos cannot be downloaded to a computer or saved as permanent files.
