I Can't See My Membership in the App. Is Something Wrong?

Short answer: Nope, everything is fine! 🎉

This is one of the most common questions we get from families who purchased a kit from our store, and we totally understand the confusion. Here's what's going on.


Kits, Memberships, and Subscriptions - What's the Difference?

When you purchased your Prodigies kit from our store, your order included two things:

  1. Physical instruments (sometimes books) - shipped to your door via our store

  2. A Prodigies membership (1 Year or Lifetime) - automatically activated in the app when your order was placed

Your membership gives you full access to Prodigies video content. ✅


So Why Does the App Say "No Subscription"?

Here's the slightly confusing part: the Subscriptions or Billing section inside the Prodigies app is designed specifically for members with a recurring monthly or yearly subscription - people who signed up with automatic renewal billing.

Your kit membership is different:

  • You purchased it directly through our store, or your school (not through Apple, Google, or Roku billing)

  • It is a membership, not a recurring subscription

  • 1 Year Memberships are active for 12 months and then expire - there's no automatic renewal

  • Lifetime Memberships never expire

Because your membership doesn't have recurring billing attached to it, the app's Subscriptions page simply has nothing to display - so it shows blank or "no active subscription." This is a display quirk, not a problem with your account.


How Do I Know My Membership Is Actually Active?

The easiest way to confirm is to simply open the content library and try playing a video. If you can watch the videos, your membership is active and working perfectly.

If you're not able to play videos, that's a different issue - reach out to us and we'll look into your account right away.
