Purchase Orders, ESA Funds, and Step Up for Students: How to Pay for Prodigies

Yes, we accept Purchase Orders, ESA funds, and Step Up for Students. Schools, charter schools, districts, homeschool co-ops, and parents using state education savings accounts all use Prodigies. Here's exactly how to pay using each option.

Purchase Orders (Schools and Districts)

If your school or district uses Purchase Orders, we make it simple.

How to submit a PO:

  1. Build your order at prodigies.com/pages/shop or Prodigies PK-5 for school site licenses.

  2. Email your PO (or a request for a quote) to [email protected].

  3. Include the items you want, your shipping address, the billing contact at your school, and any specific district requirements.

  4. We'll confirm the PO, ship physical goods, and email your digital access as soon as the PO is approved on our end.

Minimum PO: $40.00.

If your district follows a more specific policy (NET 30, vendor portals, specific tax forms), just tell us in the email and we'll meet you there.

Step Up for Students (Florida)

Florida families using Step Up for Students scholarships, including the FES-EO and FES-UA programs, can use those funds to purchase Prodigies Music memberships and physical goods like Deskbells and the Homeschool Kit.

How it works:

  1. Email [email protected] with what you'd like to purchase and let us know you're paying with Step Up funds.

  2. We'll send a quote or invoice formatted for Step Up's reimbursement portal.

  3. Upload it through your Step Up account, and once approved, we'll send your digital access and ship anything physical.

State ESA Programs

We also work with families using state-funded Education Savings Account programs, including (but not limited to):

  • Arizona ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account)

  • West Virginia Hope Scholarship

  • Utah Fits All Scholarship

  • New Hampshire EFA

  • Iowa Students First ESA

  • Tennessee, Indiana, and others as new programs roll out

Every ESA has slightly different invoicing requirements. Email [email protected] with the name of your program and what you'd like to buy. We'll send you a quote formatted to your portal's needs.

Requesting a Quote

Need a formal quote before you submit a PO or ESA request? Email [email protected] with:

  • The items you want (memberships, Deskbells, Homeschool Kits, etc.)

  • Quantity and shipping address

  • Whether you need it in PDF, Excel, or your district's specific quote format

We typically turn quotes around within 1 business day.

W9 and Vendor Onboarding

Need us in your district's vendor system? We're happy to provide a W9, certificate of insurance, or any vendor onboarding forms your business office requires. Just email [email protected] and let us know what you need.

Tax-Exempt Orders

Working with tax-exempt schools, churches, nonprofits, and government buyers is normal for us. Send your tax exemption certificate to [email protected] along with your order or PO, and we'll process the order without tax.
