Screen time with Prodigies is interactive, educational and fun. Your kids will be building real musical skills, not binging weird cartoons on YouTube. And of course, our CDs, instruments, books and materials are available!
It’s true that infants and toddlers should have minimal screen-time, which is why we’ve geared a handful of our easiest products to be screen-free (CDs, bells, books & more).
Plus, you can feel good knowing that screen-time with Prodigies is ad-free, age appropriate AND it’s focused on developing musical skills (not just on flashy animations).
Our videos for preschoolers are only about 5 minutes long, and the activities that follow take kids away from the screen for some more traditional paper-and-pencil study.
So do I need the streaming membership?
Mr. Rob, Ms. Sam and our other teachers are music educators and this makes it easy for parents or teachers with limited musical backgrounds to still use our program.
We have workbooks chapters that are supplemental with each video chapter. The workbooks and songbooks can be used on their own if you prefer zero screen time, but we would recommend using at least the videos labelled "Core Lesson" if you can. And then you can return to the books to complete that week's lesson.
