Multi-Device Household: How Many Devices Can Use My Prodigies Account?

Yes, share your Prodigies account across all your family's devices. Same login, same email, same password, everywhere. One Prodigies Music membership covers the whole household.

How Many Devices Can I Use?

You can sign in on unlimited devices with your Prodigies account. There's no per-device limit on the install side. The only cap is on simultaneous streaming.

Streaming limit: up to 3 devices playing video at the same time.

So your kid can be watching Recorder Prodigies on the iPad in the kitchen, your other kid can be on Level 2 lessons on the Apple TV in the living room, and grandma can be following along on her tablet, all at once.

How to Log In on Each Device

  1. In any app store (App Store, Google Play, Roku Channel Store, Fire TV, Samsung Smart Hub) search for "Prodigies".

  2. Download the Prodigies Music Lessons app.

  3. Open the app and log in with the same email and password you used to sign up.

Or, on any device with a web browser:

  1. Log in with your account.

That's it. Log in once on each device and it stays signed in.

Where Prodigies Works

  • iOS (iPhone, iPad)

  • Android phones and tablets

  • Amazon Fire tablets and Fire TV

  • Apple TV

  • Roku

  • Samsung Smart TVs (Tizen)

  • Any modern web browser on Mac, Windows, Chromebook, or Linux

Real-World Setups We See

  • Grandma's tablet in one state, the parent's phone at home, and a Smart TV in the playroom.

  • Two kids, two iPads, one parent laptop, all using the same login during homeschool hours.

  • Classroom Smart Board at school plus the music teacher's phone, both signed in to the same school account.

  • A family road trip with one kid streaming on a tablet in the back seat while another listens on a phone with headphones.

All of those work on a single Prodigies Music membership.

What Happens If You Hit the 3-Stream Limit?

If a 4th device tries to start streaming while 3 others are already playing, the new device will get a "too many streams" message. Just pause one of the active devices and the new one will start playing.

If you're getting that message and you're sure nobody else is streaming, somebody may have your password. Change it from your account settings, log everyone out, and email [email protected] if it keeps happening.

Common Login Issues

  • Forgot password? Use the "forgot password" link on play.prodigies.com.

  • App says "videos locked"? Make sure you're signed in with the same email you used to purchase. Pull down to refresh inside the app.

  • New email address? Email [email protected] and we'll move your membership.

Ready to Set Up Your Devices?
