We offer three primary options, each designed with different types of learners and teaching environments in mind. Here’s a quick breakdown to help you choose what’s best for your situation:

Foundations Membership (Best for Younger Homeschoolers and Beginners)

Our Foundations Membership is a great place to start for younger students, typically ages 2–6, and is most popular among homeschooling families and early childhood educators.

It includes:

  • Playtime Prodigies (ideal for preschool and early learners)

  • Level 1 Chapters 1–8, our original General Music sequence

  • Totigies - early ear-training audio series for toddlers

  • Corresponding PDF materials: lesson plans, worksheets, and sheet music for every chapter

Foundations focuses on core skills like pitch, rhythm, hand signs, solfege, and note reading, and is presented in a colorful, structured, and accessible way for one-on-one or small group settings.

Foundations + Expansions Membership (Best for Homeschool Families Seeking More Depth)

If you’re looking for the full Prodigies library for home use, the Foundations + Expansions Membership is the way to go. It includes everything in the Foundations plan, plus:

  • Level 2: More advanced music theory, reading, and performance skills

  • Recorder Prodigies: 100+ video lessons and print material

  • Ukulele Prodigies: Beginner level introduction course to ukulele

  • Playlists with more advanced performance songs

  • Downloadable PDF resources for all included lessons

This membership is perfect for homeschool families who want to explore a deeper, more comprehensive music curriculum over time.

To put it simply:

As a homeschooling family, we recommend Foundations+Expansions because it offers more depth and flexibility. Families tend to move through more material, have time for extra lessons, and enjoy diving deeper into music theory.

PK–5th Grade Standards-Based Curriculum (Designed for Schools and Classrooms)

Our PK–5th Grade Curriculum is tailored for elementary music teachers in classroom settings. It’s aligned with national music standards (NAfME) and organized by grade level for easier planning and pacing.

It includes:

  • PreK through 5th Grade video lessons, 36 weeks per grade

  • 2–3 core video lessons per week (lighter weekly load than General Music chapters)

  • Teacher-facing PDFs for planning, plus printable worksheets and sheet music

  • Materials arranged for classroom pacing, especially for teachers seeing students once per week in 20–30 student groups

While the lesson content overlaps with what’s in Foundations and Expansions, the PK–5 curriculum reorganizes and simplifies it to better fit school schedules. It’s built to help teachers hit grade-level targets with less overwhelm.

If you're teaching in a classroom, the PK–5 curriculum is structured specifically for your needs, with a lighter weekly load and straightforward pacing that works for larger groups and limited class time.
